Ingredients
- 1 Napa cabbage
- 1/4 cup sea salt
- 1/4 cup Korean red pepper flakes (gochugaru)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup fish sauce
Instructions
- Cut the cabbage into 2-inch pieces and salt. Let it sit for 2 hours.
- Rinse and drain the cabbage thoroughly.
- Mix the red pepper flakes, garlic, ginger, sugar, and fish sauce to make the paste.
- Combine the paste with the cabbage and green onions.
- Pack into a clean jar and let ferment at room temperature for 1-5 days.
Bibimbap (비빔밥)

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 200g beef mince
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, spinach, bean sprouts)
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- Soy sauce to taste
- Garlic and ginger, minced
Instructions
- Cook rice and set aside.
- Season and cook the beef mince until browned.
- Separately sauté each vegetable with garlic and season with salt.
- Fry eggs sunny-side up.
- Arrange rice in bowls, top with vegetables and beef in sections.
- Place the fried egg on top and serve with gochujang.
Bulgogi (불고기)

Ingredients
- 500g thinly sliced beef (sirloin or tenderloin)
- 1/2 pear, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl.
- Add the sliced beef and marinate for 4 hours or overnight.
- Heat a large pan or grill over medium-high heat.
- Cook the marinated beef in batches until browned and cooked through.
- Serve hot with rice and lettuce leaves for wrapping.
